Weeek behind me !!!!

Hey all!!!!!!!!

Im plannin to change things with me blog a little... goin forward u shall see post over weekens.. unless there is something particualrly interestin in my life!

so its that time of the day on a lonely sunday afternoon ... i look back on the week that passed ... tryin to make sense of things i hve come across... of people ive been with ... of thoughts that crossed my mind... of the travails on a path less trodden...[hahah... im sounding smart?]

well..for one thing ... im finally getting some much needed excercise ... ove rthe weekends.. thanks to the world cup fever.. im getting to play soccer.. which i luv to play .. and finally after a long hiest im back at it ... yyooo hoooo!!

started last sunday .. and yes .. i might as well brag that i scored the first goal for my team!! but i had no stamina and eventually was stumbling around like a deflated ball... but some how saw the game thru...

Monday was pretty incident free..except for the fact that for once i was appreciated for what i was wearing at my work place!!.. Thnx guys ,,... u just made a prince out of a Toad!!

Tuesday was an important day .. as my freind was getting married the next day ... thats Champu ... As i wouldnt be able to make it for the wedding .. i had to ensure that i was there for the reception, and yes i made it with another colleague!!

The marriage was at a hall in the middle of nowhere ... and we spent a good 30 mins hunting down the place.. but hey .. we did reach!! and Champu was the prettiest thing to behold!! the couple were kinda cute ... cute like kids ... was about to give a comment on Child marriage ... but for once i was able to reign in my motor mouth!

But had a good time out there.. and yes regretted that there was one less person i coul get married to!! [Champu thats a compliment .. coz u were the coolest!!]

Btw.. wednesday and thursday were pretty incident free.. nothin special ... and certainly not worth more than 30 key strokes!!

Friday ... the day for which i start the countdown on a monday finally arrived. Had a fun time decorating our work place .. in sync with the FIFA World cup...we setup a goal post and hung soccer balls around the bay .. man it looks awesome now!!

Friday again was important for me coz....

ARGENTINA won.....being an ardent supporter... i could have asked for nothing more than the annihilation of the opposition.... total!!!! Go Messi.... Go Crespo .... Ar Gen Tina ... Ar gen Tina ... Ar gen Tina... but yep .. i got to spare a thought for a few of the most amazing losing teams ... T&T and Cote di Iviore... awesome playing guys .. but there had to be a winner.. and this time it was experience that revailed and not talent.. btu look forward to having these teams in the comin years!!

Saturday was a mixed day ... I went out for lunch with a close freind ... and me bro and his frend .. was fun!! was supposed to be lunch at The Only Place .. but we got so late that the kithcen was closed .. befor e we could order,,,.... but that led us straight to KFC .. and finishin here we indulged ourselves at Corner house .. before eventually doin some "lukka giri" eventually heading home ... very early by my standards at 8... had to catch the matches...!!

Sunday morning started with a game of soccer .. and yes .. i brag again... i scored the first goal for my team!!!

But back home after a stint at the markets .. and here is the blog post !!!

WORLD CUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The whole world is revolving around this 8 inch diameter inflated leather contraption!!
June 9th - July 9th ... we are havin nothing much to discuss than the brazilian samba.. the european kicks ...the south american chicks... the asian heralders.. and the african hunters..

Nothing else i can talk of either...

Spent the friday hunting the markets pickin up stuff to egt the feel of SOCCER into the work area.. picked up a few balls... some memorabilia for evry member of our team ..

And yes to kick of the fever, we had a inhouse game .. THE FREE KICK BONANZA

Yes.. i conjoured up a small goal post.. with [precious paper from the printer..hehehe] and used a stress ball [diameter 2inches] which looked like a foot ball... and we were ready to give Bckham a run for his money...

rules were simple .. each person got two turns ... and he could take a shot at the goal from various points marked on the flooring..

The farthest point of abt 10feet offered 100 points and progressivly reduced as we got closer to goal...

Well we had two memebers going great guns ... two shots from the 100 point line and both went in!! i wasnt far behind though.... my first shot went in from the 100 point line and the secodn shot ricocheted off the post ..[booo hoooo!!]

But we did have our winner eventually ... Benji from Toronto .. on a visit here .. ensured he did not return empty handed!!

So we had an eventful work day come to an end .. thou the real excitment was abt to beign .. an d the first game of the tournament was nothing short of amazin...

Though i root for ARGENTINA.. the game was close to convincing me to root for the Hoem team!!!

but hey.. if the first couple of games are any indication of wats to come .. man .... were in for an exotic .. exquisite bonanaza... the goal fever is surely contagious ,.... a class 1 contagion at that ..

so until later CHAO!!!!

well.. back again!!

Hmm .. back after a two day hiatus .. with a journal of all that i did ..!!

was very busy on Tuesday .. so didint have much to do ..nor would soemone be interested in the work that i did .. heheheh

so lets get to wednesday ... had a great day .. and my frends at work made it even more special...

for one .. i had to give evryone a bday treat .. and we all ended up at chung hwa for lunch ..... kinda like that place .. they got the best indianised chinese .. !!

so after a sumptuous lunch .. i got the surprise gift from me fredns .and again brought back my guilty pangs .. yep .. kindof a strange emotion for me . but hey .... i do feel itsometimes. the gift was pretty expensive ...!!

still sloggin out wiht the training.... i get to see the sun rise nowadays ....[gotta wake up at 4.30AM] .... things are going pretty good ... keepin my fingers crossed...!!

and its thursday already .. gotto plan out for the weekend!!! And ye s... Happy Anniversary ... Mom and Dad!!... agar aaap nahin hote tho mein nahin hota !!!

And one more thing befor ei misss out on it ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY ... JO!! hope ure havin a greta time!!

hmmm... WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY!!!

well let me start with my weekend....

Pretty boring .. spent saturday doing nothing ...

Sunday .. spent time with me frends .. snooked and had a great burger at The Only Place ..... as usuall oggled at some hot chicks ... man that place somehow attracts the creme de la creme!!! mmmmm...

And yes Today ... World Environment Day ... one more day to commemorate our beautiful planet .. another futile attempt to make people realise that Earth is not the magic well... nor is it the horn of Zeus..[Amalthea] ... our planet is exhaustible and people need to realise it... the sooner the better.. but ......

Coming back home .. in the diesel guzzling shuttle .. i kept wondering .. what is it going to take to stop this traffic menace .. on the radio i heard that fuel prices have gone up by another 5% .... but hey ... is it deterring nay of us .... i guess no!

I know of frends who have three two wheelers... and two cars at home with four family members ... and each one uses a seperate vehicle .. eventhough their destination might be the same .. but who is goin to talk sense to these imbeciles... people complain abt public transport.. that it is the reason for most of them opting for two wheelers.. but hey ... give me an instance when u last used it... pickin faults is human .. but have we learnt to keep aside a bare minimum comfort.... no .... not yet .. and i have no clue when ...

welll ... i guess over cup of woes shall never cease to flow ... and i am sure the next year im goin to be writin these same stuff alll over again... and keep hopin that soem day ...some day ... some day


And to round off the day ... i had one of my most beloved colleagues movin out of the project... i could never tell her this ... but hey .. im gonna miss u Champu !! Ill miss our "pulip mittais" ... our mindless arguements... my kalubowilas.... joblessness... and in between those worldly talks...

Well... but i believe this is for the best ,.... here's wishing you the best in alll that u do ... coz u surely deserve nthing less!!

well ... my second blog too... is nt gonna be very interestin...
i had a pretty borin saturday, and all i did was burn soem cd's and watch some movies.. palyed a couple o games.. called up frends to plan up for Sunday ...

feeling kinda lonely .. but hey .. this iis one of those rare occasions.. but .. i guess it will pass..

just started off on my trainins.. pretty excited with a new role i would be takin up..

hopefully ill have somethin interesin to post tomorrow!!

I always end up talkin abt my self... no difference here either,,..
